Su Wang - PT, DPT, CSCS

Su grew up in Fort Collins, Colorado. She attended Washington University in St. Louis where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Chinese. Afterwards, she continued her education and received her Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy at Washington University School of Medicine, which has consistently been ranked in the top 2 physical therapy schools in the nation over the past 15 years.

Since 2005, Su has had extensive training and experience with treating a variety of patients from orthopedic sports injuries to geriatrics. She also possesses a strong background in diagnostic and management skills in the acute care setting, as well as valuable experience with wound care. She uses her knowledge of movement impairments analysis to develop a diagnosis for physical therapy which guides her and her patients through each individualized treatment plan. Su’s ultimate goal is to provide effective patient education and to promote patient independence.

Su enjoys setting goals. Whether it is in the clinic or in sports, she always aims high. Su was a varsity collegiate swimmer with records set in the 200-meter butterfly and a 2-time NCAA qualifier. She was also the swim team captain in 2005. She is currently a member of NOVA masters swim team in Irvine, CA. Besides swimming, she also enjoys outdoor activities such as running and surfing. She has completed 3 marathons, 3 half-marathons, and will most likely be seen in the water for a surf session or running along the beach early in the morning or during the weekends.

Su recently completed a year-long Orthopedic Manual Techniques course. Excited to be providing the highest quality of services at Koh Physical Therapy Lab, she is able to use her evidence-based skills and Movement System techniques for optimal patient treatment and well-being.
